Bridging the Gap: Why Technical IT Support is Only Half the Story
For years, “IT Support” in schools usually meant one thing: making sure the Wi-Fi works and the laptops turn on. While that foundation is as vital now as it always was, we believed there was a missing piece to the puzzle. Having the best hardware in the world doesn’t matter much if teachers don’t have the time or the tailored strategy to use it effectively in the classroom.
That’s why we are excited to officially integrate our Curriculum Support Service into our standard offering for our educational technical support customers.
More Than Just “Fixing” Things
We believe that technology should be a catalyst for learning, not a hurdle to clear. To reflect this, all of our technical support customers now receive our Curriculum Support service for FREE as part of their existing partnership with us.
This isn’t just another helpdesk feature. This service is designed and delivered by an experienced educator who understands the unique pressures of the classroom. It’s about moving beyond technical “uptime” and focusing on educational “impact.”
What This Means for Your School
By blending technical expertise with pedagogical insight, we’re helping schools move from simply “having” tech to truly “leveraging” it. Here is what you can look forward to:
• Peer Support & Networking: No more working in a silo. Our Computing Leaders Networking Meetings allow you to connect with fellow IT Leads to share what’s actually working (and what isn’t) in other local schools.
• Fresh Ideas & Innovation: Through our termly newsletters and group sessions, we bring you the latest trends and best practices, so you don’t have to spend hours researching them yourself.
• Personalised Strategy: Whether it’s refining your Digital Transformation Strategy or just finding better ways to communicate with the school community, our expert guidance is now a standard part of your toolkit.
Save the Date: Our Next In-Person Session
To see this support in action, we’d love for our educational technical support customers to join us for our next curriculum-focused termly session. A fantastic opportunity for your Primary IT Lead to step away from the screen, grab a coffee, and talk strategy with your peers and our Curriciulum Specialist, Andrew.
• When: Friday, 5th June 2026
• Where: Wallington, Surrey
• Focus: Advice and support on integrating and maximising IT within the teaching curriculum.
To register your place (limited to one staff member per school), please:
Note: As a valued technical support customer, your attendance at these termly sessions is included in your school’s service.
Unlocking Your School’s Potential
Our goal is to ensure that your investment in technology pays off in the classroom. By removing the barrier between “the tech” and “the teaching,” we’re here to help you empower your staff and inspire your pupils. We look forward to seeing you on 5th June and continuing to support your school’s digital journey.
