Join us for one of our termly IT Curriculum Support Sessions. The sessions will provide expert advice and support on how to integrate and maximise IT within the teaching curriculum.
Autumn Term 2024 session – Wednesday 16th October 2024.
Agenda.
9am – 12pm
The session will focus on the use of technology in the teaching curriculum, and is designed for knowledge sharing and collaboration among school computing leaders. We will share recommendations and strategies to enhance teaching and learning and school-wide communication, and each session will provide attendees with an opportunity to network in-person with fellow Primary IT Leads.
Venue.
In person – Cygnet IT Services, 69-73 Manor Road, Wallington, Surrey SM6 0EU
Attendance Cost.
Existing customers, already a member of Cygnet’s Curriculum Support Service – attendance is free for up to two staff members per school.
Attendance cost for non members – all schools welcome – £175 per attendee (payable in advance by invoice).
Booking Terms & Conditions.
- Booking a place for this session prior to attendance is essential. A place can be requested for this course by completing the details below.
- All cancellations must be received in writing to info@cygnet.it no less than 24 hours before the start of the course; otherwise, the full course fee will apply at the standard rate.
- Courses may occasionally be cancelled when the minimum number of applications required have not been received. We will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible of any such cancellation via email to everyone who has applied for a place on that course.
- Any applicable payments must be made in full prior to attendance on the course. If applicable, your establishment will be invoiced for course places before the course has taken place.

Meet the Trainer.
Andrew holds a BSc in Computer Science and has several years’ experience in IT roles including Developer, Tester, Analyst, Designer and User Requirements Gathering. In 2006, he transitioned to primary education where he has served in many capacities such as ICT Coordinator, Assessment Lead, Maths Lead, Assistant Head Teacher, Deputy DSL, Teacher, LSA and Tutor. Andrew is experienced in designing and developing training sessions for both staff and parents face-to-face, remote, or pre-recorded and has the skills, experience and knowledge to support schools with their use of IT.
